Rachel Drake is a professional runner for Nike based in Portland, Oregon. She just finished her season with a win and course record at the 2024 JFK 50 Miler. We did this episode with Rachel last year after her 2023 season.
Rachel is a mom, medical student (now doctor) and one of the best trail runners in the US. Rachel spent this year coming back from the recent birth of her son, Lewis. After an injury sidelined her, she eventually came back to finish 6th at OCC. Dani and EmKay chat with Rachel about her background, her pregnancy and everything since then.

The Merrell Skyrunner® World Series 2024 Final is here, and The Sub Hub Pod has you covered! Taking place on November 16th at the Marató dels Dements, all of the athletes who have been competing hard for the overall crown have one last chance to go for the win. With close to $100K in prize money on the line, you can bet this will be an epic battle on a challenging course.
