This is a wonderful episode I get to lean in with Tim Logan (LI) of the Future of Learning Design Podcast, Nathalie Nahai (LI) of the In conversation with Nathali Nahai and Manda Scott (LI) of Accidental Gods. We have more than 1000 episodes between us. I find the observations towards the end being eerily similar although we're all focused on different domains. This is well worth a listen to. Enjoy!

Cordell Jacks (LI) CEO of Regenerative Capital Group came on the podcast and shared the work he's been involved in developing on a regenerative thesis. This episode shows that there there is not necessarily any conflict between regeneration and growth. But it does require us to rethink profit, rethink leadership and rethink the positionally of the investor. The orientation towards potentiating fields and tending to their essence. We speak of what it is to fit form to an organisation, to deal with LPs on a thesis that requires the investor to be unattached to specific outcomes. Lucas Matarazzo (LI) and Ollie Bream McIntosh (LI) came to speak about systemic transformation. We spoke of collective, systemic and machine intelligence. How we can weave together these into a richer tapestry for decision making. We spoke of how change have a temporal and cultural/psychological depth component, how systems flow and how that flow may be (re)directed. How they have a rhythm: where healthy systems are different than extractive and violent ones. We spoke of how to critically make our, and the machines’, biases visible so that we may make better decisions towards futures where flourishing, conditions conducive to life and evolution may be at the centre. We spoke how to make better decisions, including requisite diversity that actually have enough granularity for enacting change on the ground. And finally we spoke of Mutua and how they work to make impact useful through guiding and assisting capital allocators. Resource mentioned on responsible use of tech. Dr Martin Lorenz (LI) and Emily Harris (LI) came by the podcast. We spoke about their project the Anti-Brief and their reimagining of the design profession: from a profession of knowing to one of discovery. Inviting learning and conversation to its very center. This is a conversation about deep codes, conversational design and an invitation towards a different posture. Martin and Emily are currently launching a new master with Elisava - that also shows up in the conversation. This is an introduction to a different way of thinking about transdisciplinarity beyond mere interdisciplinary. We also speak of the generative move between theory (the meta) and that materiality and much more related to the practice of systems change. Life ennobling design. Enjoy!

Tharald Nustad (LI) and Evita Chiang Zanuso (LI) visited the podcast and we spoke in-depth about the Katapult ecosystem, where it is currently at and the Katapult Future Fest.
